I am also submitting to up to 10 seo sites a day too, but the sales aren’t coming in quick enough for my liking! Could it be the niche? I don’t know, but I will stay at it for now and will maybe think about another niche if this doesn’t work.
That’s all part of the fun with internet marketing - trial and error!

I learned about a new website today which lists several link submission sites. I don’t have time to talk about it now because I’ve had a long week and I want to sleep, but I will be submitting my site to 10 directories a day to see if that helps my sales.
Stay tuned to see how I go!

Hi again. This is going to be a quick post because I am tired and I want to go to bed!
Another article was approved today and I have done my regular blogger and wordpress posts. No more sales though. Sigh…! I’m going to stick at it though - I’m sure I’ll get there eventually! Still plenty of traffic coming through too.
More tomorrow night.
Check out what I’m doing at http://overweightandunhappy.com.

Two weeks into the Clickbank experiment and we’re doing ok. No more sales yet, but it was said that they take a little while to build up. Also, because I’ve changed my focus to target a specific niche (women who want to lose weight after having a baby), things might take a while to build.
Here are my stats to today for the month
Unique Visitors: 602
Opt ins: 37
Sales: 1
Article info
Number of weight loss articles published: 11 (1 pending)
Number of URL clicks: 1282!!! (OMG!!)
Number of Ezine publishers: 22

Share ThisDay 13 - I MADE A SALE- TWO DAYS AGO!!!
May 15, 2008
Call me dumb, but I didn’t realise that I made my first Clickbank sale TWO days ago! Duh! So that would have been on day 11.
Ok, it was a few days later than I hoped, but I did go into a huge niche, so I’m pretty happy about this result!
Here are my stats to today
Unique Visitors: 563
Opt ins: 34
Sales: 1!
Article info
Number of weight loss articles published: 9 (2 pending - shouldn’t I have more there? Who knows??)
Number of URL clicks: 1057!!! (OMG!!)
Number of Ezine publishers: 22
Also, check out the key phrases I’ve been found on:
how to lose weight - 4
lose weight - 2
unhappy.com - 1
overweight and unhappy - 1
weightloss survey - 1
weight loss - 1
Now these numbers aren’t huge, but if you were to check out the competition for many of these key phrases, you should be as impressed as I am that my almost brand new site is being picked up on these!
Woo hoooo!

Ok, I’m supposed to be getting sales right now, but I’m not.
Why not? I’m thinking that maybe it’s the product and the way I’m marketing it.
I still think the product is great, but I’m not so sure about the market I am targeting.
This morning I came across another product which is aimed specifically at women, and in particular, mothers, so this is getting deeper into my niche, which may be what I need to do to increase my success so I’m going to give it a go!

Here’s an update of my stats from http://overweightandunhappy.com for Day 11:
Unique Visitors: 460
Subscribers: 30 (I’m amazed at this figure - this is the quickest I’ve done so far, and it’s such a huge niche!)
Sales: 0 ARGH!!!
I think I mentioned yesterday or the day before that a decent list consists of around 1000 subscribers. It was said that if you had 1000 subscribers, then you would be able to convert a sufficient amount to make some income.
Maybe my lack of conversions is due to my lack of subscribers?? Only 970 to go!
There’s still plenty to be done!

Things are going well! I am still submitting an article once a day, although I currently have 3 awaiting approval.
Here are my stats so far:
Number of unique visitors: 415
Number of subscribers: 19
Many of my visitors have come from ezine articles too! In fact, I’ve had well over 50 clickthroughs and I’ve had almost 2000 views of all of the articles I’ve ever published. I’m impressed!
I’m also trying to post to the main site at least once a day. Check out what I’m talking about at http://overweightandunhappy.com.
After attending an internet marketing seminar the other day (presented by Brett McFall) I have taken his advice on board and have added to my autoresponder series, promoting the link to the Clickbank product.
Also, if you go to http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=lAjWKklE2Q0ytk4Hb_2fLnUQ_3d_3d you can see the survey I’ve posted. I suppose it’s my way of getting more ideas of what to talk about in my articles.
